I drove 2 hours 1 way, 4 hr drive. Bought a brake caliper. When I arrived they informed me that they had “torched” the bolts that attach it to the rotor and didn’t have them. Knowing a thing or two about working on cars, I asked what they were talking about since heating up bolts with a torch to get them out doesn’t mean you have to throw them away. In fact GM techs use a red high temp thread locker on the brake caliper bolts that requires heat to loosen. So basically they threw out the bolts. They have a GM parts center right next to their building so I purchased the 2 bolts for $18. Gased up for $37 on the way home. Caliper was $40. When I got home I realized the caliper was seized, and also it was the caliper for the front brakes not the rear. I specifically told them I need one for the dual rear wheels on my truck. Called for a refund, sales rep told me to come bring in the part so they could have a look at it. I explained that I drove 4 hours, spent as much on gas as on the caliper. So it didn’t make sense to spend another $37 on gas to get refunded $40 to drive another 4 hours. Place is going bananas if they can’t classify their inventory as working or defective. Also why did they pull the front if it’s not the right one. If it was the right one, I could have made 1 working caliper out of the seized one and my broken one. Sales rep said “better luck next time buddy”. If I need “luck” for you to do your job then I have nothing else to say about your business. Definitely wouldn’t...
Read moreIf you need a reliable used part for your car don’t go to this place. My neighbor needed a headlight for her car and the price for a used one was $30 more expensive that Amazon. And about me, I needed a transmission, bought on Monday and was told to pick up the transmission on Wednesday. Went at their office on Wednesday afternoon and nobody knew what I was talking about. If you call to get any information, Their 2 favorite things to say is “he is at lunch right now” and “that’s not my department”. Nobody takes responsibility for anything. They told me to come back on Friday, 2 days later and nobody knew everything about the order. They just told me the transmission was not there, and they didn’t know were it was. They sold me a fake transmission. So I asked for any transmission in their warehouse because I just want my car running, or to give my money back since I paid upfront, and not surprisingly the “finance person” was at lunch so I couldn’t get my money back too. So I left at this point because so many incompetent people together can be contagious, and I hope I don’t have to go to court to get a transmission or...
Read moreI asked the person on the telephone if they had an interior for my vehicle, he assured me that they did….I had asked him if it was in good shape or if it was beaten up, with an attitude he replied it is in inventory, and we wouldn't have it there unless it was in good shape…… I drove 45 minutes to the junkyard, took the ticket with the vehicle number on it and after an hour finally located it, there was no interior, I spent an hour and a half on a round-trip plus an hour in the junkyard to come up empty-handed after he assured me they had the interior, not to mention the attitude that came with it… I understand that these people aren't exactly doctors, or English majors, or even your average, Retail persons, but a little goddamn courtesy, would have gone a long way….It's no wonder these people have reputations , Of being ignorant, and inconsiderate thanks for nothing never doing business there again, and you probably don't care anyways I hope LK Q put you out of business you are terrible...
