Steep climb but a nice place to see a waterfall This location has two pullouts just to the north side of the bridge. The walkway is to the east side. The first part is gradual and less than 1000 yards. That will take you to where you can see the top of the falls. If you take the other path you have two choices. One is gradual and the other is steep with no steps. Both will give you good views but the steep path gives the best views. Also, I was told, that you can see crawfish hidden among the rocks at the bottom of the steep climb. I did not see any but I did not look very hard since I was enjoying the great waterfall view. Enjoy

Moose Falls is a 30 feet is a plunge type waterfall on Crawfish Creek in Yellowstone National Park. The waterfall was named in 1885 by members of the Arnold Hague Geologic Survey for the plentiful moose found in the southern sections of the park. The falls are just 75 yards west of south entrance road via an easy trail that begins 1.2 miles north of the south entrance station. Right beside the road and is easy to get to. Parking is great and the area is very pretty. Jeff Mullins Photography Adventures. Happy Hiking!

Quick stop on the way from Yellowstone to Teton (or vice versa). A few steps down a trail and you will be at the top of this gorgeous waterfall. If you’d like, you can go further down the trail to get to the bottom of the waterfall for another view.

Nice, scenic falls. Easy to get to from the road, but the turnout is not well marked, so you have to look for it. Most people should be able to hike to the point where you can view the falls from above. To get to the base of the falls, you have to go down some rock steps which can be a little...
