Keir Family Distillery — Local services in Warren Township

My friend and I decided to take a long drive and visit a few wineries and this distillery. Getting there was a bit of a hike, but we enjoyed the adventure finding a hidden gem! The distillery is in an unassuming barn on a dirt road, but once inside it is cozy and welcoming. There were a few locals at the bar, but the owner cleared some space for us there and answered all of our questions. She was super patient and always checked back in with us to chat and answer more questions. We met the owner’s dog (a bonus!), sampled a variety of delicious liqueurs, and snacked on popcorn. I loved the Orange Almond and the Pineapple and came home with a bottle of each, but I also sampled Sweet Tea, Maple Syrup, and Pumpkin Spice. There is a cocktail menu with an assortment of interesting drinks and I’m sad to say I did not have the time to try them. I also wish I tried the Lemon liqueur, but that will have to wait for another day! In summary, this is a bit off the beaten path but it was worth discovering.
