Mt Ellen — Local services in Warren

Can't say enough about the view from up here! The expansive Champlain Valley on the west side and the Green Mountains on the other. Considering this warm winter, we were surprised at how many trails were open! Spring conditions, so definitely the south facing trails were very user friendly, compared to the "very firm" snow of those facing east or north. I went snowboarding at Mt. Ellen Sugarbush twice so far this year and both times were amazing experiences. The views are breathtaking, the trails flow so nicely and are wide open and groomed so well. There's lots of hidden woods trails and lots to explore, just Mt. Ellen's side is so big! Even better, off the sides of lots of trails were big knuckles you could jump off of. LOVED IT! No frills, great Vermont skiing. It's definitely the best I have had in Vermont. You have to be OK with a lack of fancy lifts and lodges, but the people are awesome!
