UPDATE: The manger and the woman I spoke with in human resources were both extremely helpful in resolving this matter. Katie discussed my concerns and we reached a resolution that worked for both of us!

I had a terrible experience with a technician from this company. My Husband and I are house searching but our budget is putting us more towards properties that need a little TLC. Adam showed up almost 20 minutes late, even though I explained that it was a home we were interested in buying and we had to coordinate with my real estate agent and the people who lived in the home so it needed to be quick and respectful of everyone else's time and space. we proceeded to walk through and he said he would send me estimates, after a week I heard nothing so I reached out and he said he would send them right over, I still heard nothing so I asked again and he said now it was going to cost 500 dollars for the estimate because I didn't own the home and he felt I was only using the bid to negotiate the price lower. I was trying to find out if it was feasible and how much it would run us to remove the cigarette stench and cat pee from a home where my 10 month old son is going to be crawling around and playing because if it is reasonable and feasible we would purchase the house and have the services performed.

HE WASTED OUR TIME, HE WASTED THE TENANTS TIME, HE WASTED OUR AGENTS TIME.

This set us back on moving forward with any home our rental is now up and we are being forced to move into a hotel.

Now we must start back over from square one with a contractor who hopefully has a much better work ethic.

A simple and ethical way to resolve this would have been to provide the estimate you said was free, you scheduled and came and did, instead of dragging it along, lying about the cost, and wasting my time and money. I will not compensate you on top of all this for an estimate that was already supposed to be provided weeks ago and for free.

“WE LOVE SERVPRO!” (…and that’s not an exaggeration)

My husband and I contacted SERVPRO of Southern Trumbull County in September 2019 to provide an estimate on mold mitigation in our basement. We first met with Michael Arnold Sr., the estimator/project manager, who met with us multiple times to help us refine the scope of our project. Mr. Arnold was professional, thorough, and provided information about the entire process that made us feel confident in selecting SERVPRO as the company to mitigate our mold. We had two other companies come to our house and provide an estimate and SERVPRO’s attention to detail was the selling point for us.

Our scope of project included mold mitigation, removal of all interior walls and ceiling, replacing electrical outlets/switches, and new plumbing in the laundry area. We received our project estimate quickly and were able to schedule a start date that worked for us. Our project started on a Monday, and on the Wednesday before, Mr. Arnold, Brian (electrician/plumber), and Ian and Craig (crew leaders) did a walk-thru and reviewed all the details of the project and answered all of our questions.

On the day of service, containment was established (plastic taped to walls to contain dust, etc) and tear out and mitigation began. We enjoyed talking with the whole crew (Ian, Craig, Dakota, Terrance, Brian). Everyone was extremely polite and hardworking the entire time they were at our house! Brian did a fantastic job on wiring our new ceiling lights, adding outlets, and plumbing our laundry area. Craig came out after hours to ensure all details of the final cleanup were superior; and they were! On the last day, Elmer, the production manager, and a lady (I forget her name, but don’t want to exclude her because she was great too) came out to review the work that was completed and helped with the finishing details.

Our basement looks AMAZING! Clean, dry, IMMACULATE! My husband and I are amazed. We are so happy that we chose to work with SERVPRO of Southern Trumbull County and are happy to provide this review of their TERRIFIC SERVICE.

BIOHAZARD CLEAN-UP

Hired Serv-Pro for biohazard cleaning services following a traumatic event in my home. I would NEVER recommend them for this service.

The man who came out and performed the assessment was great and very professional and reassured us that it would be ideal to use them vs cleaning things ourselves to make sure it was done throughly (i.e. nothing is missed during clean-up).

I’m not going to mention the specific details, as it was a gruesome matter. You can connect the dots.

Well, MANY things were missed during clean up. It’s as if whoever did the clean-up, ONLY removed the affected area of carpet and a piece of furniture. They did not clean or remove any curtains. There was biohazard material left all over dressers, walls, the door, and they even missed things on the ceiling; not to mention all of the other belongings in the room. (TV, large mirror, game console, remotes, monitor, picture frames, etc.)

When someone has just experienced such a traumatic event and is counting on you to restore whatever it is to its previous unaffected condition, you MUST care and be extremely detail oriented to ensure that you did your job throughly.

In this case, they did not do that. We paid thousands of dollars for a job that we had to essentially perform and finish ourselves, making us endure the trauma even more than we already were.

If you can’t do this job properly, and don’t actually think about the people that this happened to, and make them clean the things that you missed because you just don’t care or pay attention to anything, GET A NEW JOB.

I just pray that NO ONE ELSE has to endure the things that we had to endure due to the negligence of an employee.

I have not yet updated my last name on Google, as we just recently got married, actually hours before said event occurred that required us to need your services.
