Central Missouri Speedway — Local services in Warrensburg

We traveled 5 hours to this racetrack and was highly disappointed. It is one of the most dangerous tracks I have ever been too. From the cars flipping over the edge of an unprepped track to all pedestrian traffic weaving around the race cars coming off and entering the track as there is only one entrance. Secondly, the announcer was highly rude in requesting all racers to use their fuel and car time to pack down the track, then repeating himself moments later ( not minutes, literally moments) threatening the racers to race on the unprepped track. ISNT THAT THE TRACKS RESPONSIBLITY TO MAKE SURE ITS SAFE AND PREPARED FOR THE RACERS WHO ARE SPENDING THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY TO COME TO THEIR ESTABLISHMENT? Its shocking to me Lucas Oil would agree to any part of their series to be held at this establishment. We will definitely not be back. Monett Speedway is a short dirt track like this track and they would never allow the things to occur which took place at Central Speedway. Small dirt track with loud, fast racing.

The bleachers (on both sides) have a full view of the whole race, and you can feel the horsepower as they fly by in front. There is tons of seating, but, only the back row can lean back against the fence… so, get there early.

Things are a little pricey, but compared to the movies, it’s not bad. The food and snacks are fine for a small track.

I like the track and they get a decent car count but usually the intermission takes way too long. They are often bringing motor graders and box scrapers out in the middle of a race when they don’t need too. Features get started late and it makes for a drawn out event.
