DG Market — Local services in Warsaw

One of the employees here, Lisa, was apparently having a bad day and decided to take it out on me and my truck. I had left the store and was sitting in my truck with my fiancé when I noticed the aforementioned employee walk up between her vehicle and mine and started mumbling angrily under her breath. She looked disturbed about something so I was keeping an eye on her, and about 30 seconds later she decided to aggressively open her car door, slamming it into my truck (my fiancé and I both heard and felt it). I was understandably furious and got out of my truck and asked her if she just hit my truck, and she said no. I told her she for sure did because we both felt and heard it, and she denied it for a time and then eventually turned it around and said that I actually dented her car and she pointed out a massive baseball-sized dent on her car. I said absolutely not, but could tell this now required escalation so I went inside, now even more upset (rightfully so), to talk to management about it. The nice younger assistant manager was very calm and compassionate about it even though I was upset, but then the store manager caught wind of it and decided to defend Lisa instead of their customer, spouting off about Lisa being upset that someone had apparently hit her car. I said, “exactly how is that my fault?” and the store manager told me to get out of “her” store. Why the manager would defend her unstable employee instead of their paying customer is beyond me, but here we are. Needless to say, if they treat all of their customers like this, this place is absolutely doomed to fail. First and last time I ever shop there. Unfortunately as there is no way to directly respond to a review, and we're limited to a single review the store manager cannot reach out to the individual that received the ding to their door here. I am speaking on her behalf and would like to first apologize for your experience. Rest assured that per your description, we absolutely do not condone the conduct that was displayed. The woman that you spoke with was not the store manager. She was neither present, nor informed until the following day. This store got built quickly and we tried very hard to have it all together before opening but we can only stock what they send us. We have been open over 6 months now and still going strong. I don't know who would've said that about the alcohol the day of inventory but I am sorry for that. I am the store manager and I try very hard to teach my employees courtesy, kindness and speed. We enjoy having our store here for the community hope everyone can look past the minor flaws from the opening and come enjoy the store as we grow each day!
