Richmond County Family YMCA — Local services in Warsaw

Today was my first day at the YMCA. I started with my first round of Smart Start and absolutely loved it. Terrie helped me initially with the tour of the YMCA and with the small details of the administrative portion - and was very personable! She helped seal the deal with her bright personality and an even brighter smile! My wellness coach is Penny, who I recommend to anyone new and wanting to get serious with their exercise routines or wellness training. She has loads of knowledge in her role and is quite the people person herself. Love the staff! The cleanliness of the facility is spectacular. Had to write this review because my heart goes out to every member at this facility…I’ve worked there for almost 2 years and enjoyed every moment of it…with that being said..these members deserve quality equipment and now that I’ve been to 6 different gym locations I’ve noticed first hand that my beloved friends/members are missing out on true resistant quality training equipment and it’s a must that this needs to be addressed…they pay a substantial amount for there membership and deserve much better…no more crickity equipment that’s 40 years old and dumbbells that are falling apart and not to mention the cable I had to endlessly fix on a consistent...

This place is the worst Y in the state. I grew up in this town and at one point I loved it there and it was a place I loved to go in high school but it’s turned into a place I avoid at all costs now. I also dislike very much how the staff at the from desk and back weight room area is treated by their own bosses. I have 2 other Y’s that I live farther away from but gladly drive to...
