Barnyard Art Studio & Gallery — Local services in Warwick Township

I visited Barnyard Art Studio on a bus trip to Lancaster. It was our second stop and I really enjoyed hearing local artist Elva Hurst openly share about growing up in a conservative mennonite family. I learned about the art of Chalk Talk and got to experience her do a beautiful live drawing for us. It was narrated by her as she shared. For example, the timing was smooth, like when she talked about birds while she drew them in the sky was really powerful. She was fun, motivational and inspiring. Elva Hurst is the owner and main artist of the Barnyard Art Studio and Gallery. She offers art lessons as classes for small groups or for individuals. Her lesson prices are reasonable and she is a patient, encouraging teacher and gifted artist. My friend & I visited here in Oct. 2019 & were thoroughly impressed & amazed. Elva & her staff are very welcoming, friendly & informative. I just finished reading Elva's book "Inspirations in Art" & am thoroughly impressed by her art & inspirational words. I read it at a time when I desperately needed it. I'm now reading her book " My Story" & am sure I will be equally delighted. I hope to return again next year & get to speak to this wonderful...
