DO NOT board your horse here the conditions are terrible the place always has strangles the fields are full of mud there aren't even enough stalls for all the horses . some of the horses weren't even in a barn they were in a "shed" with a tin roof standing in about a foot of manure most of the horses have abscesses and other various hoof problems from standing in manure the place is absolutely filthy, they don't know what they are doing i took lessons here for a short while mabie a month or two and my "instructor" was a teenager that didn't know what she was doing we never did anything more than trot around the arena i was put on a horse with an abscess and a clubbed hoof and he was around 30 years old and may have very well been lame the horses are very poorly cared for and with lesson students they show you practically nothing our saddles were too far back we all held the reins wrong and our form was horrendous they had green horses running around the arena during the lesson and about five or six people in the arena at once, all the horses shared bits all the tack was rusted and looked like it was 30 years old their tack was never clean( just like everything else) and the experience overall was horrible sometimes when id show up for a lesson my "instructor" would be nowhere to be seen and would be a half hour late also there is so much drama at this "barn" they trash talk some of their boarders i've witnessed it happen if you currently have a horse boarded here get it out before it dies and get it tested for strangles. there are so many safety hazards their helmets are terrible and filthy some of the cross ties are uneven or to short most of the tack is broken or near unuseable there is just so much wrong with the stable for the safety of you and your horse i recommend you...
Read moreI want to respond to other review I live at Victory and Sandy is my mother she does all that she does for the people and the children that come to Victory I have lived with horses All my life and I am not really that into them but that said I have been in and lived on many farms with all kind of horses and Victory has its faults but over all it is a clean barn may need repair because horse destroy all that is built for them As far as "dirty stalls" 1000 lb plus animal produces a lot of waste the stall are cleaned once a day PA has no helmet law any were with equine and Parents and horse owners can choose to wear or not to were a helmet Loose horses and not brushed horses, We have Over 100 horses some get loose and many need a brush (we have some and will let ANYONE brush them out come and have some fun on me no charge) As far as Children trainers come and test the knowledge of any one of the "CHILDREN" giving a lesson Being hung up on I don't know why Call back, don't be rude, I don't know why my Mom would hang up on anyone aside from childish behavior (first hand experience)
Come see for yourself but remember we have 100+ horses 90 stalls many borders and many student we can stand for a bit more order but if you want to play with a horse without people being mean to your for being curious...
Read moreWe booked a birthday party for my daughters here and communicated with the owners prior to the event so that everything could be ready. We arrived to find trash and junk everywhere and nothing was prepared for. My family had to spend a lot of time trying to move rusty, broken items out of the way so we could even have space for the event we paid for, all while the employee sat by and watched without offering help to remove their trash. The grass was not cut, which made it unsafe for older guests to maneuver, dog poop littered the pavilion area, and the pavilion was surrounded by discarded appliances. Although the kids had fun during the riding portion, the facilities were an absolute embarrassment. I am disappointed that this place wasn’t run in a more professional way - we wouldn’t have hesitated to bring our girls back for lessons, but it’s a shame how it is run and maintained. Safety is definitely not a top priority with all of the rust and broken...
