BrownCastle Games — Local services in Washington Township

Browncastle Games was my introduction to Crokinole! I held out for a while, content to play on my friend's board, but once they came out with resin discs and Crokinole Imperium I was a goner. I'm now a long-time member of the Disc of the Month of club, and pretty much every member of my family has their own board because I've converted them all in turn.

Browncastle has so many amazing accessories that make an easy to learn game even more fun and accessible, their boards are gorgeous, and with every new style they come out with I've gone from telling myself "I don't need a Crokinole board" to "I don't need a second Crokinole board".

But if they keep putting out boards like the ones with the swirl designs...holding out is...

I recently attended GrandCon 2025 and played so much Crokinole in the BrownCastle Games tournament. I fell in love with this game last year and I'm so grateful that I got to play it abundantly this year at the convention. I was excited to see a tourney was happening this year and signed up right away. The entire staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about the game. They encouraged me to keep practicing and to try again, even giving me tips along the way to improve my game. They make the most beautiful boards I've ever seen and I can't wait to purchase my very own board from them next year at the 2026 convention. Got my brown castle board today and I am very impressed with the quality. From my researching the various high quality crokinole board providers it really seems like BrownCastle is ahead of the curve when it comes to the accessories. Having the hard cases and the extra puck to keep track of scoring on the engraved score keeper is awesome! And the crokinole bag is a must have - it feels so well put together. Some of the bags other manufacturers were offering looked flimsy by comparison. If you’re on the fence you can take my word that this is a great purchase!
