Grandview Speedway is the best dirt track around on the East Coast. The track is run with the utmost professionalism by all involved. The track prep crew is always doing an amazing job and knows the dirt so well, from being able to recover from a rain storm or fix a track that is locked to the bottom. This shows in the amount of fans that attend any race at Grandview and the amount of cars they get. Their special Thunder on the Hill shows are always packed to the brim with fans, on a Tuesday or Wednesday night! Their weekly shows are a spectacle as well, with 30-40 cars in each division. No other track is pulling in those numbers. The food is excellent and reasonably priced for a sporting event, I highly recommend the french fries stand! Oh, and the racing is top notch. 2 and wide racing is the norm with drivers starting in the back and able to make passes on others. I love going to Grandview speedway. My favorite Driver is Jeff Shrunk. The last time I went was 2yeears ago.i went to buy one of his shirts .well.i was walking up the bleachers and I fell and had 6 bruises ribs .my husband and I are coming this coming Saturday night too see the 76ers race .so I will be yelling my heart ❤ out for Jeff Shrunk..Bring home a win 🏆 Jeff. I hope they don't sell it bc I will be balling my eyes my eyes out. The USAC Midgets definitely put a show on here. This is one of the best tracks in relation to viewing. The turn 3-4 grandstands offer a fantastic view of the entire track. I would highly recommend sitting in the large grandstand in between turn 3-4 and towards the upper half. The food here was good and everyone was helpful and friendly. The only two downfalls was the amount of track work that was done throughout the night. I am not an expert nor am the best judge of track preparation but I go to the races to watch racing not tractors and water trucks go around the track. Additionally if track prep is a necessity through the night at least provide some entertainment while is occurring.
