Legend Hills Orchards — Local services in Washington Township

Terrible. I phoned Sunday at 10 AM to make certain before an hour drive that they had pick you own Cortland apples available. The man (no name) answers that yes they were still offering those, but cautioned the Cortland crop was only 10% of normal, and again assured me they had those available as pick your own. So assured I drive an hour over and the gentleman at counter tells me no, no pick your own Cortland apples available and tried to sell me pre picked and or seconds. I brought up the fact I called less than an hour ago and oddly enough he had the same exact voice as the man on the phone. He kept saying well you didn't talk to me. And again it was the same exact voice. Then he went into full jerk mode and I left him in his lies. Sooooo....we went 2 miles north on 62 to Brandstool Orchard. Trees there LOADED with cortland apples, picked 3 half bushels in less that 20 minutes. To Legend Hills: you weren't man enough to admit it WAS you on phone. We had been to your orchard for over 30 years but no more, we will now go...

We love Legend Hills!! We drove over an hour from Hilliard during rush hour to make it to do our annual Apple Picking of delicious Courtland Apples. When we got there they had already closed the self Apple picking due to the fact it was almost closing time. After they heard we drove so far they generously let us go ahead and pick our favorite apples. We knew exactly what we wanted and had them picked in 15 minutes and were back in time to grab some pumpkins too. Thank you for letting us enjoy our annual Courtland Apple picking...we definitely will be back again!! Love supporting...

I've been coming here for years and it's always a good experience. I'm surprised by some of the reviews complaining about prices (which are not extravagant) but in a time when people are demanding better pay for themselves (especially in the service industry) while also saying support small business, this is part of it.

Don't demand more for yourself while not being a willing participant for others.

Keep supporting this place as it is a gem. The pick-your-own apples are always a joy, being up on rolling hills that give some tranquil views. Better than flat...
