Beaufort County Community College — Local services in Washington

Awful place to go to school almost as bad as Martin Communitty College, very cold unwelcoming staff and fauclty. The Contiueing Education is a Disaster have taken two face to face Contiueing Education Courses thier and they have done absolutley nothing job wise or helping me find a decent let alone a job in general. Your better off avoiding this place completly unless your desperate for college courses or near the end or trying to finish up a degree otherwise its a bad choice also was insulted by the finacial aide staff one time in the student services building checking on something. Went for the NCRC test and couldn't be happier. Ms. Latham the administrator was super helpful with not only getting through the testing and program but also working out getting a scholarship for the test. She was patient and kind, she made it a pleasant and peaceful environment. She also took time to commend me on my test scores. The testing was straightforward and relatively easy to understand. The other staff i interacted with were all very helpful and took time to offer help and direction. I would highly recommend BCCC for any program or class available. I hope to continue my education with them...

I was so nervous coming in to get ready for the CRC test. Being “older” and walking in a “college” is intimidating. I’m so glad I went for it. Deborah Latham made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. She is so professional, kind, caring, attentive, and most of all, so positive and encouraging! Anyone who comes in contact with her is blessed to have met her.
