Very mixed feelings. On one end, I love that chocowinity and the surrounding area has a fun place to service kids, teens and adultsâŚ..howeverâŚ.as someone who has lived all over, I know that the prices are predatory and live on the fact that this is one of the only âfunâ places in choco/washington. I encourage you all to drive a little further for venues with better prices. This skating rink is fun, it has an arcade, go-karts, bounce house room, and a playground area outside, but you do have to pay for every single thing. You have to pay an entry fee to get into the building, after paying an entry fee you must go purchase your skates (skates not included in entry fee but I think that it should be) after purchasing your skates if your child needs a ârackâ to shake with, you must also purchase that, if your child wants to go jump on the bounce houses you must also purchase a pass for that, if you want to go try out the go-carts you must also purchase a pass for thatâ-and please note that these passes arenât $2-$3âŚ.they are more so $7+. This is a great establishment but it is an expensive one and I encourage you to understand that before coming here, it you are looking for an inexpensive outing then this is not the place for you. If expenses arenât an issue then this is a great place for adults and kids as well. My son had a great time here, he skated, did the bounce house as well as a 2 rounds of go-karts and played in the arcade, we easily spent about...
Read moreMy teen had a great experience today with a group of her friends for her birthday. We didn't book it as a party because we didn't really need the party room. Instead we purchased track passes.
It wasn't very crowded which was great since we had a group of 13 people. The passes were a great value for skating and two rounds of go karts. Everyone could skate at their own pace and stumble/fall without it becoming a pile up. Nobody felt rushed to get out of the way or held back from going faster.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. The games were nice as well because we had some kids who didn't really want to skate alot. They were able to occupy themselves with games. Games operate on quarters which is great! I always hate going to arcades and having to buy tokens that can only be used at that location. I love that Extreme Action Park uses quarters. They also have an ATM and a change machine.
Go karting was really fun for the kids. I didn't count the laps but it seemed like just the right amount of time. It was also a fun track with lots of curves to make it challenging.
It's a great place and worth the drive if you are coming from...
Read moreI use to come to this establishment throughout the years. But now i will not be returning. My 17 year old daughter and her friends tried to attend their establishment. One was 18 and the others were turning 18 within the month or next few months. But that is beside the point. They refuse to let them in a skate rink because they all wasnt 18. I dont think it makes since that a place that business is mainly because of kids are telling kids they cant come skate unless they 18. An adult will have to come and stay while they are there. Now if they were adolescents i could understand but teenagers. And these particular teenagers you could tell wasnt there to start any trouble. Management said she changed the rule as of 2 years ago of me leaving this review and to me that was a bad business decision. Theres not many places around this way that kids can go an be kids and you just took one away. I shouldnt have to come babysit my 17 year old daughter at...
