Sunset Drive In — Local services in Waterford Township

What is wrong with everyone? This place is horrible. Why is the screen uphill unlike every other movie theater and drive in (I hope you like other cars blocking half of the screen)? Why do they not accept credit cards in 2019? Why are the bathrooms disgusting with no privacy? Why does it take 45 minutes to get anything from the concession stand? Why don't they have a radio playing the movie in the concession stand so you don't miss half the movie waiting to get food? Why don't they have someone who enforces the rules so you don't have a bunch of cars with their lights on and their hatches up?

I've been to two different drive in's. The other one had none of these problems. This place is poorly organized and deserves to go out of business. And you deserve to spend your money and time on...

With the location on a very busy highway it definitely needs better caution signs for thru traffic that an event is occurring (flea market). Vehicles are parked on the berm, pedestrians are walking on the berm & crossing the highway where visibility is somewhat limited. If you park in the parking field and are exiting onto Rt. 97 you cannot see if vehicles are coming due to cars parked on the shoulder. They do have volunteers wearing orange vests near the entrance and parking lot but they are not in any way controlling traffic or ensuring safety of those entering, exiting or crossing the highway. If you are into flea markets It's worth a visit, but know parking is not the best unless you get there before It's open and it is located on a very busy highway without a police presence or...

I took my grandson's. For me, it was the first time in a long time at the drive-in. They wanted a soft pretzel and cheese. I was handed two small containers of cheese with no lids and the pretzels. I asked for a box to carry them to the car. Mind you, I saw other people with these boxes. The girl at the counter was very rude asked "what for?" I told her so I could get all this to the car without spilling it. She told me, and I kid you not, that it was against the rules. I said it's a box, and she then said, "Have a nice day, Mam." 😡 okay I will spend my money at the movie theater from now on. I have never been so confused about helping someone with a simple request.
