Heart and Hand Baking Co. — Local services in Waterford

I cannot thank Heart and Hand Baking Co. for making the last two occasions, for loved ones, wonderfully memorable! The first time I contacted Heart and Hand, the owner reached out directly to me. She was beyond professional, warm, and was so easy to work with. I gave her ideas for my friend's birthday and she provided me details and a mock up, as soon as she received my reply (picture of stunning cupcakes attached). I was so impressed with the cupcakes, I texted her immediately asking her to do my son's big fifth birthday (Bingo from Bluey themed). She fit me in, in which I am and was incredibly thankful, and asked me what I preferred for design, frosting, height, filling -- every aspect of the cake. I knew her expertise and talent, so I did encourage her to do what she thought best during the process (I was thankful for this). I ended up ordering two tier, with buttercream frosting, and lemon curd filling with coconut. With both the cupcakes and cake, they were the most delicious desserts I have ever tasted -- everyone agreed! My family and I joked that this was better than all of our weddings cake...but it wasn't a joke -- it was!! We can't thank you enough for making our friend's and son's celebrations so beautiful and memorable. You will be our forever...

So my daughter told me on Wednesday that she was going to get married on Sunday. Which was fine. It was to be a very small intimate affair. As I was thinking about this very untraditional wedding, I decided I need a little tradition. I wanted a wedding cake for them. I looked online and the ones I wanted, you needed a much larger window for a cake. I came across Heart and Hand. I left a message and soon after Drew called me back and was able to do the cake. I had some ideas of what I wanted but Drew really helped me decide on the finished product. It wasn't only beautiful but tasted great as well! Sometimes the universe just gives you what you need and I lucked out. I can go on and on but I think the picture...

I am from NJ and had a bridal shower in Connecticut and I was responsible for the cupcakes. I reached out to heart and hand co. And immediately knew I wanted to work with them. They were extremely helpful and very quick with responses, even when they were on vacation they were discussing logistics with me! When I met in person the day of the bridal shower, she was so beyond friendly as well. Great company and very trusting. ALSO, the cupcakes were incredible. The looks AND the flavor were both outstanding. All of the guests raved about how good they tasted. They were lemon flavored!!! I will definitely be contacting them again if I’m ever in CT!...
