I came across a documentary on Netflix that explained exactly how and where a lot of companies got their honey from. All this time, I thought that I was being so healthy using what I thought was pure honey instead of sugar. I am so happy that Ames Farm was featured in the Documentary because they really gave me a whole new understanding of what true Honey is supposed to be. I ordered from them immediately.
The taste of the true honey from Ames Farm makes a world of difference in all of my food that I use it in. I hadn't realized that there were so many different kinds of honey, but it makes sense since it is based on where the bees get their nectar. I decided to try the raw Buckwheat honey which is very dark brown. It is definitly a much heavier/malty taste than standard honey. I was reading that it is good to bake with so I plan on trying that. However, I used this honey for some wounds and for acne and I am completely amazed at how much it helps!
