This is one of the best drive-in theaters I've ever visited. Being from Kentucky and spending a long weekend in Tennessee, we made a last-minute decision on a Friday night to visit the Stardust. I'm so glad we did! The theater is impressive, with a perfect layout for a two-screen drive-in. The row of trees down the center of the property meets at the centrally located concession stand, serving both screens. It feels like two separate theaters in one. We loved the fun countdown that kicked off the evening's screening, and the picture quality was bright and clear, and the nostalgia concession ad's between movies are delightful! At the concession stand we rented an affordable radio to enjoy sitting outside our car and bought some boxed candy. While I can't comment on the quality of the hot food, the menu looked tempting, making us wish we hadn't eaten dinner beforehand. The only complaint, which wasn't the fault of the Stardust, was a car parked behind us that kept its motor running throughout the movie. If you need to keep your car running at a drive-in theater, an outdoor movie probably isn't for you. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this impressive drive-in. If we visit Tennessee near the Watertown area again, we'll definitely return to this wonderful drive-in. We might even make a special Saturday trip and make day of it just to experience another evening!

Our adventure to Stardust Drive-In Theater Friday night July 1st 2021 was nothing short of an ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY WONDERFULLY SPECTACULAR AND VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE for our family and the friends we brought with us... We had 8 people in 2 SUV's so we made sure to get there early enough to get a good/decent place to park so my legally blind husband could enjoy the movies as much as everyone else... We got there about an hr after the box office opened around 7 and there were still plenty of places for us to choose from but I'm sure depending on when you go & what you're seeing the drive in may fill up faster than the night we went especially if it's back to back family friendly films like animated movies like what we saw because speaking from our experience Screen 2 filled up MUCH MUCH FASTER than Screen1(we were watching the new Boss Baby & the new Peter Rabbit on Screen 2 & Screen 1 was playing 2 adult movies 🎥 F9 'Fast & Furious 9' & Nobody 🎥 ) 45 mins to an hr before the films started when we were getting food at concessions we noticed that Screen 2 was almost full when Screen 1 didn't even have 1 whole row full... FOOD WAS AWESOME... MOVIES WERE AMAZING... STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL (they even let me use a screwdriver when a screw fell out of our chair) YOU CAN BRING YOUR PETS (as long as they are under your control at all times on a leash or in your car) PRICE WAS MORE THAN REASONABLE & WAY BETTER THAN A REGULAR THEATER ($9 a head/12 & Up for 2 movies compared to $12.99 each/12 & up at our local theater for 1 movie they do 5$ movie night on Tues where all tickets are 5$ unless it's a 3D or IMAX film then it's a little more & they do a $5 snack deal/small popcorn & small drink too so even then the Drive in would still be cheaper for 2 films if you paid the 8-9$ to bring your own snacks) AND (Like I just mentioned & possibly the BEST thing about Stardust) YOU CAN EVEN PAY EXTRA TO BRING YOUR OWN FOOD & DRINKS (no alcohol allowed) WITH YOU (it's seriously LESS THAN $10 & I don't know any other theater that allows that regardless if it's a regular theater or a drive in cause The Stardust Drive-In Theater in Watertown TN is the 4th or 5th Drive-In we've been to & the 3rd in TN alone) So in my opinion Stardust Drive-In easily just became my favorite place to go watch movies with the family & it's also my favorite Drive-In Theater now (2nd place would have to go to the Montana Drive-In in Tullahoma TN & 3rd place goes to the Moonlite Drive-In in Woodbury TN due to the lights that stay on late at the DG the Drive-In is located behind/beside)... If you're looking for something FUN & Cost Efficient for yourself, your family or your friends to do this summer I definitely recommend this location... Right now during the summer school break they're open 7 nights a week & BONUS IT'S AN OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY SO MUCH ABOUT THE DANGERS OF COVID-19 WHILE ENJOYING YOURSELF WITH YOUR FAMILY AND/OR FRIENDS!!! Needless to say at this point but 10 out of 10 absolutely recommend or more like 💯 out of 💯 recommend if you want to make great memories having an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTICALLY FANTABULOUS time with all of the people &/or pets you love most!!! Great experience that's Fun & Budget Friendly for EVERYONE regardless of age, gender, race, religion, ethnicity, political affiliation, tax bracket, sexual preference or...

Very disappointed in our experience here. Beautiful summer day with two blockbuster summer movies playing, so we anticipated it would be sold out. We bought tickets in advance and got there over an hour early as the website instructed. After a 35 minute wait in line to place the concessions order and another 30 minute wait and still no food, we inquired how long they thought it would be and they said 45 to 60 minutes more. Two hours to get concessions. TWO HOURS?! The movie was now starting and we were expected to stand up there for another hour waiting to hear our number called to pick up our concessions. (Maybe a sign with changing numbers on it? Text system? SOMETHING that would allow patrons to enjoy the movie while the wait??) Sadly, because of their policy to charge $8 ($9 online) to bring your own food, we did not bring any. We gave up and got a refund on the food and the manager told us they were short staffed and sold out. We knew you would be sold out, why didn't YOU know it and staff accordingly? If someone called out - Perhaps you could remove some items from the menu for the night so the three people making food for... What....800 people??... all at the same time could move more quickly. This is your business for decades and it was running like you'd just opened last week. So insanely inefficient. We also could not see the lower 1/3 of the screen because of all of the oversized trucks parked in the front (could you perhaps designate spaces for them in the back?). And the screen was so surprisingly small and low to the ground. That was a major disappointment. People were still in cars in line to enter when the movie started, all searching for a parking spot with their blinding headlights on. (If they don't make it by the start of the movie, turn them away!) It was just a terrible experience all around. We ended up leaving a few minutes into the start of the movie because we had anticipated eating there and were all very hungry. I am positive the people who got there after us would not have even gotten their food before the movie was OVER. Not sure we would have, either, and we got there an hour before the movie started! I waited 10 years to finally make it out to this place and I am so disappointed in what we experienced. At least now we know we don't ever need...

There is no way to put everything I love about this place in to words, the owner knows his customers and knows what he's doing. The admission price is very reasonable for two movies, movies are usually current except for the covid-19 era however this has allowed use to see movies were never saw on the big screen or hadn't seen in many years. The staff is very attentive they have someone patrolling the around the cars constantly the make sure that everyone has parked properly and no one's view is obscured, they also have a jump-box so if you kill your battery while watching the movies they will have you on your way in minutes. The bathrooms are the cleanest drive-in bathrooms I have ever been to, many drive-ins have little more than an outhouse or super cramped bathrooms that never get cleaned, these are cleaned constantly and are always stocked with paper and the trash cans are never full or overflowing. The food is good and the prices are better my wife and I order tons of food and drinks and usually less than thirty bucks, drinks, cheeseburgers, popcorn, pretzels, funnel cake, trust me it's a bargain. I've only talked to the owner once or twice in person, but he is very active on Facebook and takes people's ideas and opinions into consideration, were are his customers after all, he lists special events and appearances on there as well, there has been DeLorean's and even a mini Ghostbusters car there before. Just go, I promise you'll love it, drive-ins are a blast from the past and allow you to experience movies in a different way, bring a blanket, bring your dog, football, frisbee, just about whatever you want to entertain yourself prior to or...
