Berry Store — Local services in Watsonville

This should be the standard required by all shippers, definitely at least providing a place to park for truckers who are delivering or picking up loads, such as this place provides would be nice. On top of providing parking with easy backing, they also provide fresh cooked food from a yummy food truck, we ordered a vegetarian breakfast burrito and it was perfect. Then of course something else that should be a requirement is the restrooms, this place provides john's probably for night, but a nice clean restroom in the day too. Also nice was they got us in and out before our scheduled appointment time. I think shippers should be fined if they don't get truckers out within 3hrs of their scheduled times as many don't and aren't given any repercussions.

I wish the FMCSA would start regulating shippers to be more like this. Of course maybe some would not be able to provide parking due to space (and would be given excuse), but there are so many that have the space and don't let you park there to sleep after a long drive. That really isn't right, especially because it becomes a catch 22 with the hours of service...

There’s on site parking, clean restrooms inside the building by the guard shack and inside the gate by the shipping office as well. They also have hella porta potty’s. The food truck was amazingggggg, had breakfast and lunch here, they taxing though. Giving the shipper 3 stars because I’m salty :/. Got here at 8:34am for a 19:00 appt. I thought being here super early I could be worked in and get out of here lol sike! I got called to a door at 19:55 and it’s currently 20:48 and they haven’t even started loading yet. It’s been a long day. Don’t bother coming here early, there’s no point Update: done loading by 22:01, didn’t call me saying paperwork was ready though they said they would. Just went up there @22:27 and was handled paperwork....

Beautiful drive there. Amazing facility with an outstanding view. Clean and well taken care of. Appt 1600. Arrived way early 720am. Park in lot and walk to guard shack. They give you paper with numerous things to fill out...load info, lic#'s, vehicle #'s etc... Staged me inside gate to wait for door. (They call you when have door & when done with paperwork) office to right of dock doors. Had the best bacon, egg n cheese breakfast burrito ever from the taco truck! Was able to sleep and out by 2pm. Shopped 2 different times lol. Get lots of berries! Fresh and so delicious. Told dispatch I take this load...
