Andi and team are renovators AND artists. I had a very special piece of furniture that was a tribute to my mother who had recently passed away. They listened carefully to me tell stories of my mother, her love of purple, and her connection with this office desk. It had been my grandfather's desk that my mother painted as a young woman and used herself for years and years. The desk had seen better days. My father then also used it as a hiding spot for "funny money" for my mother in later years. This wasn't just a desk- it was a collection of memories. Andi asked a lot of very thoughtful questions to make sure that anything they did to it would be respectful of the past, but also innovative for me to use for years to come. The end result was just amazing. Not only did they make it more useable so the drawers worked better- they turned the desk into a time capsule! The bottom desk drawers originally didn't have a base. Andi and team built into the bottom of the desk a "dropped floor" with a hidden section that was purple and included tiny little fake money. I laugh every time I see it! Also, the new finish they did was beautiful and fit right into the style of my home. I am very pleased and will pass this gem on to my children some day. You guys...Renovating Relics is truely amazing! My puppy took a bite out of our coffee table corner and I did not think it would be fixable. It is part of a set so stain had to be a perfect match plus chuncks of table gone and scratches. I got a referral and took the table to Renovating Relics. First Andi offered a novel solution to cut the two sides in the same style of the table and stain to match the look. She offered a very fair price. The table came in way before the date originally quoted and looks perfect. I almost cried when I saw it as I was so in disbelief of how perfect it came out.
