*Update - the Merchant's response was not truthful. We were in fact quoted $60, which is why we left. In any case, their pricing sign did not in any way state that children 3 and under are free. There was no age listed on the sign. Hopefully this review will at least cause the Merchant to update their sign if this is in fact their policy and accurately charge others based on this policy going forward. FYI for other families with small children - Sunberry has a very strict apple picking pricing policy : $10/person. They wanted to charge us $60, which included $20 for our 2 year old twins who cannot really even pick apples yet. We attempted to point this out, but the employee was insistent that each person was $10, regardless of age. This seemed rather unfair and pricey given how many apples our family with young children would be able to pick before tiring out so we ended up going to another orchard. The other orchard fairly allowed children 2 and under in for free and we paid a more reasonable price of $32 (for 4 people). Sunberry also only had one apple variety available to pick. The orchard we ended up going to had over 8 varieties of apples available...

Avoid This Apple Picking Scam - Go Literally Anywhere Else

Not designed to families with multiple kids over the age of 3. My family of 5 visited SunBerry Orchards expecting a fun, traditional apple picking experience. Instead, we encountered the most ridiculous and greedy pricing scheme I've ever seen at an orchard.

The Absurd Pricing Scam: Unlike every other orchard we've visited, SunBerry forces EACH family member to purchase their own bag to enter the orchard. We would have been forced to buy 5 small bags at $10 each ($50 total) when their largest bag, which holds TWICE as many apples as all five small bags combined, costs only $35.

Let that sink in: $50 for 5 people to pick and half the apples you could get for 1 person to pick with a large bag for $35. This backwards pricing structure makes absolutely no sense unless it's intentionally designed to exploit families.

We gladly left to take our business elsewhere. I hope they modify their pricing structure to support families more...

Out of this world place! To start - beautifully decorated seasonal porch! Fresh produce, orchard apples, organic meats (only frozen though. Even in their other locations - we checked, but very high quality), freshly baked bread. Very. I mean - very - friendly staff. (Whoever wrote a nasty review about Ukrainian vs Russian language speaking casier should go back from where they came and don't ruin amazing business and people in a free English-speaking counry). The best part - you can roam the farm freely, meet all sorts of animals - from turkeys to ostriches, from horses to pigs, from sheep to geese, and don'tforget super friendly fluffy dog! Our kids felt so free and welcomed. It was a true heartwarming experience at a farm - the way it should be to take a break from this busy world. Huge thank you to the owners and employees- you make a...

Nice variety of Ukrainian goods but the cashier speaks russian and most of the customers are russian speaking. I greeted the cashier in Ukrainian but she was silent and at the end she said “bye”. The next customers was russian speaking and she switched to russian and was super helpful. I think she hates Ukrainian speaking customers. I suggest to hire a cashier that can at least say “hello” and “good bye” in Ukrainian at the Ukrainian store.

The store is fine, but I felt bad for the dog and donkeys on the property. The dog looked unkempt because it had flies and bugs (maybe fleas?) on his fur. The dog also had an injury on the nose with blood. The donkeys would tremble when they walked, and I think one had blood showing on its ankle. Take care of your animals, please.

What a lovely place! I visited mid November and the whole store smelled of fresh apples it was so delightful. They had crates of so many different types. There are also some animal pens with some farm animals. Everyone comes right up to the fence.
