Mission Creek has the kindest, most compassionate and caring people. I was fortunate to spend a couple of months here, and from the start, I found the employees to be a warm, attentive, and truly dedicated. Activities were fun and engaging and the food was consistently delicious. Chef Tony and his team went above and beyond to accommodate likes and dislikes, always checking in to ensure meals were enjoyed. Vegas, one of the kitchen staff with a joy to be around, making sure to include residents, who prefer to sit alone in conversations. Caregivers like Sky, Dominique and Marissa stood out with their genuine kindness, treating me with respect and compassion. Call lights were answered with lightning speed. I was a nurse myself, and have never seen such prompt responses. The move in process with Kat was seamless. She went above and beyond by offering a virtual tour, and even arranging an in person tour for my sister when she came to town. Rachel at the front Desk was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly sweet and helpful whenever I had questions,. Kaylee and Cat, the nurses, were very responsive and always made me feel truly cared for. Mission Creek made my stay feel like home and I am so grateful for the dedicated staff made such a...
Read morePlease do not utilize this facility for your loved one. My beloved mother-in-law sustained many skin tears and had many falls due to negligence and inconsistency in training of staff and being short staffed. Oversight, consistency and correction of issues seemed non-existent. Basic needs were at some times not met. It was extremely difficult to arrange meetings with Francesca (the director). Be aware: They will not check in on a resident (this was not memory care) in "Level 4" care any more than once every two hours. That is the highest level of assisted living care offered. We were never told this when she was admitted as a resident. She passed away in February. She had many issues with advanced age (104) however the cause of death on the Medical Examiner's report officially is: "Complications of T2 thoracic vertebral fracture" which was due to a fall. There were 14 injuries listed in the "Evidence of Injury" section. We feel that she passed away sooner due to the last fall she sustained which caused the vertebral fracture and a gash on the back of her head that required staples. She did not deserve to go through the physical and emotional trauma that occurred. Please look somewhere else so you aren't left with those memories of...
Read moreI recently had to find a temporary place for my mom to stay. I toured several facilities, but Mission Creek was the best. Mary Lindsey is the admissions director and was so helpful and kind and answered all of my questions and gave me a great tour. I came back that same day with my husband and she made time to speak to him and gave him a tour. I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facility is so bright and sunny and spacious with high ceilings. All the rooms are a very nice size, with many common areas to sit and visit. The outside courtyards are gorgeous. The dining area is large and welcoming with many fireplaces. One of the standout features is their dedicated and compassionate staff. The staff is beyond kind and wonderful. I met so many amazing and friendly people at Mission Creek. The residents have access to many activities during the day. My mom loved the daily exercise class and bingo. My mom and I had such a great experience at Mission Creek and I thank their staff for taking such great...
