Dollar General — Local services in Waverly

Dollar General has been a great place to stop in small out of the way towns that don't have a neighborhood market or grocery store. I've recently moved to a small town in Southeastern Nebraska and there is a Dollar General store in my home town of Syracuse and another store on my way home from work on Hi-Way 34. Dollar General is a awesome place to get those everyday items at a much reasonable price than the larger Grocery Stores. Is everything thing a $1.00 like some dollar store, No they're not!! But most and many items are. They don't carry everything, but many of the main things you need. Today I was looking for Celery Salt. They didn't have it and that is something that a larger grocery store will and can carry. But another item that I was looking for is the new Mountain Dew Soda called Maui Burst. They have it in the 16oz/1pint can. I love it and it's only a $1.00. I can't get it at my place of work yet, so I buy it where I can and that is currently at Dollar General. A great stop and shop located right on the highway for essentials or a quick trip. The store is clean, well organized, and items are reasonably priced. They stock a wide variety of inventory from grocery & homegoods to pet supplies and wrapping paper. It's a nice option for anyone who doesn't want to drive so far out the way to get what they need. only gave it 5 stars to see this post. CLOSED FOR REMODEL.* There were people working outside and had the doors wide open, with no sign to tell customers they are closed. They were rude and told me to leave the store. They should probably put a sign up or let someone know to update hours online. Common sense goes a LONGGG way. Thanks...
