Dollar General — Local services in Waverly

This has to be the worst Dollar General that I've ever visited! The cashier was god awful. My step daughter and I were waiting in line to purchase our items, & she was speaking with the customer in from of me that she was checking out & was cursing & talking about a girl they didn't like. Seriously...that's not what my step daughter needs to be hearing. Conversations like that need to be done after working hours. Finally she starts ringing me up. She didn't greet me whatsoever. I had to ask her how she was doing. After she's done, she gives me my receipt. I say "Thank you", & she doesn't say a word. The last time I checked, when you have a job as a cashier, you're main focus point is Customer Service. The manager of this store really needs to hire people who show their customers respect. Needless to say, I won't be going back to that store...

I was pleasantly surprised when I went in the Dollar General in Waverly and Disputants on Friday. Both stores were clean and organized. Could be because of new resets but I noticed a few different employees. They seemed to care for how their store looked. BIG, HUGE difference in attitude. Hope they can continue to keep it up to prove it didn't tidy up only for reset. Like the quick self checkout in Disputanta too! It's nice to see they're taking pride in their work and have fresh attitudes. Thanks so much now if the community can help with keeping it organized! Put item back where it belongs if you decide not to buy it ..don't be lazy.....do unto others as you'd want them...

This place is NASTY! IT NEED TO BE CLOSED OFF. YOU CAN GET INFECTION BY JUST TOUCHING THE DOOR THEN ONCE YOU"RE INSIDE THERE IS COBWEB SPIDERS CRAWLING INSECTS AND IN EVERY ISLE ARE TRASH DUST ACCUMULATION YOU COULD BARELY SEE WHAT COLOR THE FLOOR IS ..THE SHELVES ARE EMOTY AND WHAT'S LEFT LOOKED LIKE IT CAME OUT FROM A SECOND HAND DUMPSTER. ONLY PERSON WORK THAT ACT LIKE SHE IS UNDER THE INFLUENCED OF SOMETHING.. CLOSED IT DOWN FOR A TOTAL SANITIZED REHAB AND HIRE A CLEAR...
