Del-Mar Golf Course — Local services in Wayne Township

Made a tee time online for 11:30pm two weeks ago. Drove 65 miles. Guy in pro shop / bar told me closed due to water on course. Went to car and sat in parking lot ten minutes as several cars show and one guy told me course open for outing. They checked in and loaded clubs onto carts. I call course and goes to voicemail, so leave message for manager / owner to call me regarding lie about course closed. No call back yet. Extremely deceptive management and poor customer service. The level of dishonesty was astounding and management / owner disinterest in accountability is hick-like … apparently only interested in known locals playing their cow...

Made a tee time online for 12:32pm today. Was charged a convenience fee to make said tee time. Called at 10:30am to make sure this course was open today. Was assured it was. I show up 5 minutes before my tee time to be told they are closed. No explanation. Yet, I. Can see 30 carts already out on the course. Unbelievable. Was sent home. We hold our golf outing here every year, and the staff is very accommodating to our specific needs. As with any place, there are a few things that I would change (bathrooms need to be updated and bigger), which is why this place got four stars instead of 5, but everybody had a great time, and that's all that matters. If you look at my pictures, you'll see that Smokin Dave's BBQ in Ellwood City catered our event, and their food is the best...
