I have been to a lot of fairgrounds and festivals, this is one of the nicest and best kept. Paul and the crew keep it well managed. I love a misty night and a full August moon. Goodtimes does a great job with the midway and rides.

We were just at Keystone Madness 2021 and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. Bathrooms were adequate and they have shower too. I would definitely recommend attending events here ! And it's larger than it looks.

This was the first time I have ever been to the Schuylkill County Fair and I am very upset of how I was treated while I was there.😠 When I first got to the gate and paid to get in IIasked if I was allowed to have my E.S.A. with me. Which ESA is my Emotional Support Animal. The lady said yes so I paid for the arm band and proceeded to walk through when I was approached by a lady who said she was from The Hillside ASPCA and said that she didn't know what reason I had the the dog or what my issue was but there was not to be any pets allowed in the fair grounds. I told her well I asked if I could have my dog and was told yes and I also told her that I really didn't like The Hillside ASPCA and proceeded to walk away from her. Then after I had already went around the ground once and was looking where to find some water and a bite to eat I was approached again by a staff/security personnel on a golf cart and again was told that I could not have my ESA inside the fair grounds. Until I had told him why I have her with me I was asked to show her rabies and update license.Which I have to carry on my keys because my dog is only a 3 lb teacup chihauha. So needless to say I got the reason why the lady from hillside was angry, just because they didn't have the right cerdentals for some of the animals they took there. So you can bet that I will not ever be coming back. I spent money to go have a thought would have been a nice evening at the fair, to leave a half-hour after getting there. $5.00 to get in $2.00 for a bottle of water $3.00 for a ice cream cone $10.00 for a cartoon drawing of my little dog. And humiliated by staff and the hillside ASPCA. So if you want my honest opinion of the fair... First and last time I will go there!!! Sincerely Disgusted & Humiliated. T....

The fall fest was absolutely terrible, It was scheduled 12-6pm. I arrived at 2pm because there was an hour traffic to even get up the road to park, when I went in to scan my tickets the lady at the desk informed me that all vendor trucks had ran out of food and beverages besides the coffee truck, every thing to do there you had to wait an hour plus in line. With small children and it being a very hot day it was extremely frustrating. the bathrooms were completely out of toilet paper and it smelled so foul. There was no one there to clean up. Upon arrival there was NO traffic enforcement. I was told by a worker I could get a refund on my tickets and when I left there was a different lady there saying they stopped refunding people! Extremely frustrated and will never go again! They had well over 1,000 people and had bare minimal to...

Yesterday, 7/30/25, was supposed to be kids day at the fair. The fair opened at 11 so we thought everything was going to be open for the kids. The only thing that was open was the animals. Food didn't start until 12 noon and rides didn't open until 1pm. It was super hot so we didn't want to be there too long but we waited for the food and rides to open so we could eat, ride a couple of rides and leave. The food was pretty good and they had a misting tent...
