I am writing as a concerned parent regarding a staff member at your school, Alla Shahin. My child previously attended the old private school she used to teach at in Wayne, where Ms. Shahin was an English teacher. My second child now attends your school. Unfortunately, during her time there, her behavior raised serious concerns that I feel compelled to bring to your attention for the safety and well-being of students at your institution. Ms. Shahin displayed behavior that was, in my opinion, inappropriate and troubling. She made comments that some families found offensive and insensitive, particularly toward students of South Asian descent. Such behavior can contribute to a negative and non-inclusive environment, which is concerning in any educational setting. Additionally, Ms. Shahin frequently shared personal details with students as young as 7th graders, which many parents felt was unprofessional. She also made hurtful remarks about students' appearances, which affected their self-esteem. She exhibited unprofessional behavior in the classroom on a regular basis. Reports from former students and parents expressed concerns about her professionalism and the boundaries she maintained with students. I think it is worth looking into how she conducts herself. terrible school, graduate of class of 2025 and regret going to the school everyday, please if ur deciding to come to this school make sure you like yr shop or else yr forced to stay in it and learn a subject you hate the next four years, i mean how are u supposed to know exactly what u want in eighth grade, staff are rude and arrogant, discipline is completely corrupt and one sided, you can never defend yourself, this school completely destroyed my mental health with an unsupportive environment in such a large school, never receiving any individual help until something serious occurs when its too late, school only had good rep because it purposely accepts smart students who will make the school look good and ofc the shop classes which u choose in middle school and are stuck with until u graduate. choose wisely and dont let the reputation fool you if you are thinking abt attending this school it was a complete...

Applied here for my daughter and toured the school in the fall of 2022, never received a denial or acceptance letter. Calling here and speaking with anyone over the phone trying to get some assistance is almost the same as if you were to call a government office, they are rude and act like you are an inconvenience to them. I called in April, again in May and again in June. I did hear from some teachers that happen to be neighbors of mine that someone in administration passed away and therefore a lot of letters never went out. Very disappointed and this experience was extremely disheartening....
