Very very deceiving when you pull up to the front of this building, when you get inside you realize you're going to be there for a while. It was spread out the entire length of the building the depth of the building and we discovered a second and third floor of really just fascinating things. I wish I could come up with the words to describe what we saw there, eclectic is not the word but it's the best that I can come up with. We saw everything from local food products to local woodcraft products and photography and toys and very fashionable clothing very interesting knick knacks. I personally found something that appeared to have been maybe a milk can at one time that had been expertly crafted into a large candle holder. I don't know how to describe it except I need to get a couple of these things for my house. Didn't have the time or the room since we had a full boat, we plan to go back to the area and we will definitely be stopping here at the country...

The cons: workers are not very friendly. As a former retail employee and manager, greeting customers and making them feel welcome has always been extremely important to me.
My family and I were not greeted when we entered the establishment even though the employees were standing behind the register as we entered. In addition, being followed around and not even attempting to interact was unnerving and off putting. If you see my family and I as a loss prevention issue, at least dignify our presences by speaking and attempting to have some sort of interchange.
The products are a tad bit pricey but that's to be expected by "specialty"...
Read moreI made impulse purchases... And I never do that! We stopped at the store for a bathroom break after getting off Interstate 64 on our way down to highway 29. While the bathroom was just a porta potty behind the store accessed via a dirt path, the rest of the place makes up for it. We purchased a very nice "Pennsylvania Dutch" tin star, and a beautiful whirl-i-gig in the shape of a flower. There were some watercolor paintings, pewter bracelets, unusual candy and food.
