The Trinitea took to the rapids of the Trinity River. We rafted, hiked to a waterfall, swam & ate soft serve. A beautiful day in Northern California. #trinityriver #trinitycounty #river #rafting #waterfall #california #summer

There was what appeared as a company retreat taking place across the river from Junction City Campground. They left a mess and even left items in the river. I collected several items in an eddy. One of the persons in attendance urinated directly in front of myself, my wife, and our 10 year old daughter. I found a water bottle they lost in the river, leading me to believe they were from Trinity County Public Health." If this is true, they should be ashamed of they disrespectfulness exhibited and littering in this beautiful area. If it was not TCPH, then shame on whoever you are.

Best river ever!! The old Lewiston hotel and bar is the place to be! Great food and drinks!! They have rooms that are clean and neat. It’s right on the trinity river just down from the hatchery. Beautiful river and Lewiston lake is also very pretty where the river starts flowing from the magnificent Trinity lake!! People are very friendly and welcoming. An awesome community!!

Wow. When I finally found this river I was overjoyed. It took me 2 days to finally find the spot where my father's ashes should go and boy howdy I dumped him and ran. Frankly I hate wilderness so this really sucked but there's a campground right outside of Hoopa, and that's where pops went. Thank you to all who helped on my journey -I hope to never come back...
