We met the owner of this farm at the Jackson County Farmer’s Market in Sylva, and we had seen his handmade signs for U PICK BLUEBERRIES around town. Seeing him at the farmer’s market cemented our plans on going! He let us try a blueberry at the market, and had a blueberry drink that we tried and found to be delicious. We took some friends to the blueberry patch on a Saturday morning. We were one of a few cars that had arrived. The owner was at the farmer’s market that morning, so we had missed him, but there was someone there helping out. He gave us some recommendations, and then we grabbed a one-gallon busket (bucket/basket) and started going through the blueberry patch to fill it up! There are ant hills and occasional piles of feces around, so just be careful where you step, it is the outdoors after all. It’s also cash only, so be aware of that. One gallon of blueberries was $12, and I found that to be a very reasonable price because the quality and taste of the blueberries is AMAZING! This makes for a fantastic activity for families, groups of friends, or even a date. We have already gotten through our gallon of blueberries. I definitely am considering coming back for more. I would highly recommend coming earlier in the day, when it’s cooler outside.

Large blueberry patch 4 acre for upick, easy to gather and reach in organized rows. Many different varieties that ripen at different times throughout the summer. Make sure you have cash. Very reasonable pricing $15 for a large bucket. Bring a bag or some container to carry out the blueberries. Very sweet if you pick the ripe ones -- the berries that don't need much effort to pull off, not just the blue ones. Easy to reach off the road. There's wifi coverage on the farm.

Well worth the trip. Beautiful spot. There are several varieties ready to pick at different times throughout the season. The owner directed us to the rows that were bearing the most fruit when we visited. When we attempted to pay for a not-quite-full basket he encouraged us to get our money's worth and top it off. Nice, honest guy. Terrific berries. Will return.

This farm came highly recommended so we came today to pick a gallon of blueberries. Over 65 pays $12 and it took us about 30-45 mins to fill our bucket. Be sure to bring a bag to take them home in. Got about 4 lbs or over 12 cups of berries so making jam and cobblers for a while. It was overcast but if we come back when it’s sunny will definitely want a hat as it can get hot. Lovely owners and delicious fruit - will come back...
