This is indeed a very clean, well kept rest stop with amazing views. I was put off, however, by the inhospitable behavior of the woman who I am assuming to be a caretaker of sorts. We arrived shortly after 7 p.m., and were surprised to find we were the only guests. After a full days driving, we were ready for a quick meal and a bit of sleep. We had hamburgers from the previous days takeout meal, so we started reheating them in the microwave. A couple of minutes later a woman knocked on our door, and upon greeting her, she informed us in a rather brusque manner that generators were not allowed in use. I assured her that I was only reheating our meal, and would not be running it long. She firmly restated that it was not allowed. I acknowledged her statement, she left, and I killed the generator. #1. We were the only people in the rest area. #2. It was still early, and within most campgrounds' rules concerning "quiet hours". #3. Later, I walked the whole area, and found quite a lengthy list of rules inside the building where the restrooms are. After reading them thoroughly, I did find one sentence that said generators were not allowed "in such a manner and at such times so as to disturb other persons". #4. As I said, it was a little after 7 p.m., and we were the only ones here. #5. The rules were inside a building that I never would have gone into because I travel in a self contained motorhome, plus I had only been parked for maybe 15 mins., and hadn't even had time to step outside to check out and read the historical signage much less go inside the building to read the info located there. All in all, I believe the woman was quite unreasonable and inhospitable by interpreting the generator rule so unjustly. I might add that the generator rule is quite ambiguous.

Most beautiful view of all the rest stops on 95. Easy to access going either way. Large indoor heated restrooms and lots of parking. Great picnic area with covered tables. Nice area to walk your animals too 😀 Watch out for rattlesnakes, though I've never seen one there.

Nice spot to stop for a quick pinchie. Clean, warm, well maintained. My only complaint is that cheap toilet paper. Come on! You can get affordable TP that pulls off the roll without constantly breaking.

Clean bathrooms... And i mean, clean! Stall doors with lock bolts! Hyper poweful hand dryers! A single vending machine that only seems to dispense coke for some reason! But seriously, i was impressed how clean this place was... And that's saying alot as I've been to many rest areas. TRUCKERS:. there are 6 spots for overnight parking, trash bins very close by and also a pet area (if you have Fido with you), also inside the main building are fold out maps for Idaho - always handy to have if...

This was a nice, clean rest area. There is only one area on one side of the road, so depending on which way you're coming from, you may need to cross traffic. There is an area to let your pets out on a leash. Be aware though, because on the west side there is a warning of snakes being in the area. The bathrooms were clean. There is also a pay phone...
