Weiser River — Local services in Weiser

Rode my horse on the Weiser River Wagon Trail Ride. Beautiful views. Have a shod horse or boots due to the varying rocks and gravel. Not many spots to access water, so when you do find it, let your horse tank up! Very nice bridges for crossing, wide enough for wagons. The railroad ties for the horses are covered in this tar stuff that is toxic to horses. Of course my horse rubbed on it and got a pretty deep splinter in his neck on the 2nd night out of 4. The railroad ties are not high enough to safely high tie for most horses for overnight. Nothing to hook your leadrope on the wood 🪵. Fortunately my friend had 2 eyelet...

One of the best river side biking trails in Idaho. Fishing has trout above Midvale with more smallmouth bass below. I like taking my bird dog training...

Great place to ride horses or even biking or just a walk along the Weiser River trail, it was beautiful! Would love to ride my horse from one end...
