This just popped in my head from about 4 years ago, but it deserves some bad press. I'll never forget that we came here during early COVID probably in Summer of 2020. We asked the price for a pair of pots we were interested in and the worker says "They are $70 each, but you're in luck because these are actually half off!" We said "Oh that's awsome, we had no idea!"
Another woman happened to be walking past (I'm sure it was the owner) and she seemed kind of flustered to overhear our conversation. The place was pretty busy and in hind-sight, this was the beginning of the covid rush where everyone was buying plants.
We went to check out, and the lady that seemed to be an owner was the one who checked us out. It rang up to $140 and we said we were told they were half off. She said they are, but they are actually $140 each. I could not believe she said that. These were 12" basic ceramic pots. We were pretty young then and didn't argue but I could feel something was off. In the car I sort of realized the situation when thinking back on all the body language. The regular employee was good and kind and excited to tell us the sale and knew the price. The owner-ish lady was running around with a very dark greedy energy about her, just completely high on how much business they were doing. She lied about the price because she didn't want to sell them for less. We should have argued but these things happen so rarely, so we're never prepared for them. Read moreIf you buy plants from Frisella's do NOT hire them to plant them for you. We had a horrible experience twice. Their crews were very inexperienced and planted the plants incredibly poorly. They did not overdig the hole, they did not tease the root ball, they just cut a hole exactly the same size as the pot, pulled the plants out of the pot, and stuck it in the ground. More importantly, however, is that we had picked out plants in advance of installation. The plants that they brought were not the same plants we picked out and were obviously diseased. After installation we figured we'd give it a few months but most of them died. We sent pictures of what they looked like when they were planted and they apologized and said they would replace them. So they sent a new crew out the next year and replaced the plants that had died. The problem was that this time the plants looked even worse and more diseased than the original ones they brought. I sent pictures to them on the day they installed them and they said they couldn't believe that the crew sent those out like that. They did refund our money for the installation but they also said they would provide us with new plants to replace ourselves but they never did. We finally gave up trying to get them to stick to their word. I think it has been 3 years now and we still don't have any semblance of the privacy hedge we were trying to achieve...

Full disclosure- this is an ongoing issue and I’ll happily change this review if it is rectified. Thus far it has been an awful experience and others deserve to know.
Purchased 2 trees (~$1,500) in the fall and they did not look healthy early summer/late spring. Took pictures and Frisella quickly offered to honor the warranty on one and I was verbally told they would extend the other warranty an extra year to see if the tree pulled through. Picked our replacement tree and was slapped with an additional fee b/c they changed the price of our tree. They had the exact SKU in stock of our tree- but we were forced to pay the difference. Their warranty paperwork clearly states that a cash value of the purchase price would only be issued if the exact replacement wasn’t available. My exact replacement was available yet I’m still paying the difference??
Also - we have been waiting for ~6weeks to even get ON the schedule. No end in site. Most recent correspondence - they now are suggesting that the “hand shake” extended warranty for the second tree isn’t recognized.
