The fair was excellent and every way possible 5stars for that one. But you get a 2 star for untrained and rude volunteers working in the parking lot. The lady in the parking lot area for the handicap was very rude and disrespectful along with her supervisor which is also very rude. Also volunteers were not wearing their uniforms for out in the parking lot which includes a safety fluorescent vest that they’re supposed to wear at all times while being out there directing traffic so they do not get hit by a car at all. I have gone to fairs for years and never have seen it this way. Also the handicap parking spaces are way too big in my general opinion at other fares they’ve been a little bit more decent and they should have a doesn’t need to drop off zone or wheelchairs and motor scooters for anyone that needs handicap assistance like they do at most fairs. They could’ve fit at least nine cars on each side more than they had in that area the lines are just too far apart. I was also judge A trailer hitch for a handicap trailer and said that my trailer may have been too small for that spot whenever I told him it reached out to the edge of the parking spot he complained that his doesn’t do that in his does at the office at direction and I said well do you want me to prove that I have a scooter in here so it doesn’t get stolen or what. I know that they’re just volunteers but if they’re going to be rude and disrespectful then they really need to learn protocol on how to handle difficult situations I was trying to be nice and kind to the lady but at the same time I asked her if she had a uniform or badge to show that she worked at the fair or volunteered I mean. Didn’t mean to be rude to her but if she doesn’t wear a vest how can I know that she’s not lying or being rude and angry just because I look too young to be in the handicap zone. PS: The guy in charge of the parking lot area asked me if I was leaving at that moment just to get rid of me very rude and...
Read moreDispleasing because of the new guys at lsco, she's an applicant, and they were herrasing her it looked like, but she felt it was hazing. Hazing is done to new rookies in the department. I am a family of a cop and she's a former law enforcement student. She got friends that are mostly all cops. She doesn't like the new county males at all. She was so mad at them. One hit on her at our house, and she reported him to his boss, who's a very good friend of hers since 2011. He was livid that she had that experience because of what she went through years ago with a male in sheffield township. My family is friends of Sheriff Stammitti through her cousins friendship with his daughter. They watched her grow up hurt and scared, and her pal was the one that handled that case in sheffield township back in 2011. That's how the LT, that was a dept back than and her meant, from her friend from another case in Elyria that was her friend. This all has her angry at everyone. Making matters worse when her husband wasn't around to protect her. I can't feel her pain, but she cried. She loves the animals and food, though. Get cops she likes...
Read moreNothing but awesome to see our President Trump in my great state of Ohio. Also got real close to Jim Jordan & Marjorie Taylor Green. We camped out the night before. That was rough but worth it. I felt bad for the ppl that had to stand outside of the seating area. We were forced to stand in line after 8 a.m. for 8 LONG hours and you couldn't dare step out for drink of water or restroom cause you'd never get back in. When they did finally let everyone in at 2p.m. it was a stampede. We were maybe 20th in line cause we camped out the night before. Ended up 200 -300 back cause of their unorganization. Once we were finally let in, lots & lots of ppl ran for the porta pots & food/drink trailers and I ran top speed to get our 4th row center seat. I'm only leaving 4 stars when really i want to leave 2 cause they were in no way, shape, or form ready for 30,000 plus ppl and should've known. Exhausting day other than seeing Trump arrive on stage around 7:30 pm and seeing Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Green before up close before...
