I was at the Market right before Christmas. They were very busy. Someone ahead of me bought 10 lb of ground round beef. So my turn. I asked for 10 pound of ground round beef. Did not have in the counter. So the young man said he would have to grind some. He came back to me and said he needed to clean the grinder and it would take awhile. But he could give me 10 pound of the other which had more fat. I said I would like to have ground Round. So he went back to grind some not very happy! So I wait at least a half hour. Meanwhile another gentleman asks what else I would like. So I told him some New York strip steaks. Could he cut some off the piece that was in the counter. He goes in the back and comes out with these real fatty steaks which I refused to buy. Finally he cuts four from the piece in the counter. I get other things and finally my ground round comes out and immediately put into a bag and I did not see it until I got home. I don’t know what I paid for because you don’t get a listing. Had a 0100 appointment. Arrived early. There was a truck in front of me and I still got a dock and unloaded in less than an hour. Staff was friendly and offered a space to park for the night. Unfortunately, I had another delivery and couldn’t stay. There is a clean restroom, plus plenty of room to maneuver and back up. While e route, my Rand McNally tried to turn me down an actual alley🙄. If yours does the same, just go to Chestnut St. It’s a tight turn but we’ve probably had worse. Absolutely love Weaver’s of Wellsville! I’ve been there many times, but I was there this morning, and they are expanding into the other part of their facility, which is going to be a big improvement! They have everything from steaks, pork chops, chicken, hotdogs, salads, hot dogs, lunch meat, smoked cheeses, but my absolute favorite are their various beef sticks and bologna! We are very fortunate to have such a great place like this so close to us in the Dillsburg area. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for local...
