Worst business ever... Tried to rip me off by trying to sell me a part from O'Reilly's that retails for $38 for $78 bucks. Claiming it's a "jobber mark up" I work in the industry, and I know for a fact that they get those O'Reilly's parts at a discount already. So they are trying to rip people off by marking up a markup. when I asked for a quote reflecting this, he said he couldn't give me one because the job wasn't done yet. As we all know, a quote is to shop around for the best price before the job is done... 10/10 to their unprofessionalism, 10/10 scam artists, 10/10 useless. People complain that the town of Wellton is dying out, but these are they type of people that are causing this to happen. For all my future auto needs, I will drive 30+ min to go into Yuma instead of dealing with this business ever again. Mike was the one that my wife was dealing with, he was cussing at her (not saying she wasn't cussing back at that point tho) he kept trying to gaslight us by saying that all he was trying to do was help us, after they created the issue to begin with.
Long story...
Read moreI can’t tell you prices or service quality or anything more because both attempts to get service here I haven’t made it passed the front door. First my truck was too big for the alignment machine (understandable) then a year later I called on a Tuesday to schedule an alignment for my Kia for a Saturday. The customer service advisor said “yeah my mechanic is in on Saturday bring it in it will be no problem.” I was insistent on making an appointment and he re assured me it would be no problem. I show up on Saturday to get my service done at 8:30 am. I stated “im here for an alignment” to which they replied with “sorry can’t do it our mechanic is busy all day with a tune up”
The shop didn’t know but I have a 5000+ mile road trip and needed my alignment done as I had just purchased new tires. I made sure to go with them as they are next to my house and the next closest shop is in Yuma. I understand they have to make money but they are advertised as “tire pros” but I’ve seen nothing to indicate the truth in that statement. They can’t even schedule me an...
Read moreI showed up at opening time Wed 7/21/21 with my F250 with a front tire tread that left the truck while doing over 2K of damage to the wheel well, door and running board. No problem I have a spare! Problem Ford locks the spare and I did not have tool to remove it. Bought truck used and I guess it was lost. Had to drive truck 9 miles on the steel belts, never went flat just lost the tread. They were so nice at Ed's, They pulled it in immediately and removed the tire. They did not have any magic to get the spare off either, but I asked if they had a used tire I could buy and finish my trip. The guy went though all their tires and happen to find something that will work. They mounted it and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. They did all of this cheaper than Midas charged me for a flat repair. This place was amazing and I appreciate them helping me and taking advantage of a traveler. ...
