Ernie's Market — Local services in Wenatchee

I wish that I could post the disgusting video of their clerk, Allison, who gleefully and proudly showed such disrespect for a well respected local doctor. I will share this video via PM to those who want to see it. Believe me… It is truly reprehensible! This clerk was shaking with giddiness because she, erroneously, feels that she was the “chosen one“ to show much disrespect for a doctor who has spent most of his adult life diligently tending to the medical needs of thousands of people in Wenatchee. A doctor who has served our community well. A doctor who, when there was no hope for a family member to survive, held hands with the family and honestly grieved with them. Believe me, if by chance Allison needed care from him, Dr. Rutherford would do his best to help and treat her with respect. On the other hand, I’m not so forgiving. I live a few blocks away from Ernie’s and for the past 10 years I’ve been there several times a day. But I will never go there again. I will take the same advice that Allison gave Dr. Rutherford and take my business to the Superjet Plaza. The Superjet Plaza is a much better store. As a side note… I’ve always known that Allison and I have different political views but this didn’t matter to me. In my mind, it’s all good if you’re a good person. However, she has shown herself to be a vile person who reflects the mindset...

I love Ernies and I love the fact that they have stood for freedom. This pandemic has taken a toll on many people. When I was facing tough times right before losing my job of 23 years I'd stop at Ernies on the way to work... where I'd pick up a few things and be given support no matter what I chose to do. The kind words spoken to me in that store helped me through the last two months of working in a hostile environment. I am so sorry Alison is getting so much hate over her video. She never incited violence... she said "the one person you wish** Who hasn't spoke words out of pain, anger, frustration and sadness? Alison's own husband lost his job at CH as well due to the fact that CH wouldn't accommodate their staff. When we see our friends and family hurt it is our instinct to protect them and stand up for them. How can so many send such hateful things to someone they don't know? I love...

I had shopped Ernie’s periodically throughout the years, however, have not and will not. When I was working with developmentally disabled adults, helping them to become involved more in their community as well as employment, Ernie’s was a place that I stopped at in hopes of helping my client to gain employment. When I asked the man (apparently the owner at the tim) behind the counter for an application. He not only declined to give me one but he flat out told me, “ WE DONT HIRE THOSE HERE” as he looked at my client. Since then the behavior at Ernie’s has only intensified, directing this type of behavior towards people that wear masks or get vaccinated? I do not know if the owners are the same from years ago? But their behavior...
