My mother and siblings had the unfortunate task of arranging a funeral for my father; our parents had previously chosen Highland Memorial Park based on recommendations from friends and family. From the moment we walked through their doors, we were met with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help during such a difficult time.

The staff Highland Memorial were incredibly supportive and attentive. They took the time to listen to our needs and preferences, ensuring that every detail was handled with care and respect. Their empathy and understanding made a significant difference, providing comfort and reassurance when we needed it most.

The funeral director, Annika Garcia, guided us through the entire process, from selecting the flowers to arranging the service. Annika is knowledgeable and patient, answering all our questions and offering valuable suggestions that helped us create a meaningful and personalized tribute. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the service, from the beautifully arranged flowers to the seamless coordination of the ceremony.

One of the standout aspects of Highland Memorial was their ability to accommodate our request to pay respect to our other family members that were previously laid to rest at Highland. Juanita Olivo and her crew showed great respect and worked diligently to ensure that everything went in accordance with our wishes. This level of dedication and respect was truly appreciated by our family.

Additionally, the facilities at Funeraria Del Angel at Highland Memorial were immaculate and serene. The chapel is elegantly designed, offering a tranquil space for the viewing service. Frances Garza provided a peaceful environment for reflection and remembrance during the few days prior to the burial. Frances greeted everyone with a warm smile; she laughed with us when we told a funny story and offered a shoulder when we needed it the most. She ensured nothing was missed before and during the viewing for my dad, she was even our driver to and from the church service! We bonded well with her and consider her a family friend. The reception area was equally inviting, allowing us to gather and share memories in a comfortable setting after the burial service.

Overall, my experience with Highland Memorial was exceptional. Their compassionate approach, attention to detail, and unwavering support made a challenging time more bearable. Thank you and the entire Staff of Del Angel Funeral Home SO MUCH and with superlative sincerity for your sympathy, kindness and professionalism as we, the family and friends prayed farewells to our beloved mother, our best friend, our Zoila Evangelina Rodriguez. Grief is a lonely journey, but you and your staff shared with overwhelming kindnesses, demonstrated time and again, while you guided us through extremely difficult moments as we said goodbye to Zoila. Arrangements, Rosary, Mass, and Interment and Receptions were organized efficiently and lovingly. Our mom would have delightfully approved! Our Mothers’ funeral was sorrowful, as expected, but extraordinarily gracious as she would have wanted. Your compassion and attention to detail left another blessed memory. We’ve brought my grandpa memorial flowers and this is the 3rd time they have removed anything we have there and thrown it away. Yet other people have their flowers and wind fans and other stuff. We already spoke to them about this and the manager was super unprofessional and told us “ that from now on he’s going to remove everyone’s flowers and other stuff and tell them that we made them do it and it was our fault” we didn’t say anything like that. We paid for that stuff with our money and they just throw it away without any warning. It’s absolutely horrible.

We went to see my grandpa and tell me why THESE PEOPLE REMOVED EVERYTHING! All his flowers all the cute stuff we put on his grave! EVERYTHING!! Yet again everyone else has all their pretty flowers but not my grandpa! THIS IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! We paid tons of money for all my stuff for my grandpa and yet these people could care less and just remove our stuff! How would y’all like it if someone did that...
