-50000 stars DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Poised bridal is THE WORST company I have EVER had to deal with! “Miss Nancy” does not know how to run a company! SAVE YOURSELF FROM STRESS AND A HUGE HEADACHE and take your money elsewhere! If I could take it all back and go elsewhere I’d do it in a HEARTBEAT! At first she was super helpful and “nice” we paid off my dress and it’s like she fell off the face of the Earth! My dress should’ve been done in 6 months and I did dress fitting/picking of the dress in April and it literally barely got here Dec 23rd but according to NANCY VELAZQUEZ “they were not behind” she then STOPPED answering all calls and told me “as the wedding approaches your gonna be stressed” in which I replied “you’re the only one stressing me out about my dress, we are all waiting on you! This is not how a company should be run” I always tried my best to give her the benefit of the doubt in saying “her building burned maybe she’s going through it” but it was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had to deal with! At one point I couldn’t even do my job with a sane mind anymore because the unknown took a toll on me my wedding is 24 days away and I should not feel the way I felt! In a time where I should be so happy I was so miserable because I could not get through to anyone up until my fiance called any and all numbers on their website. We called from over 7 different numbers trying to get answers until they finally decided to get my dress shipped because I told them my lawyer was looking into the matter and would take in into his own hands if needed! The tracking that I was promised was never given so at this point their word was SO SO UNRELIABLE! According to Nancy my dress was scheduled to ship in November this is where I knew all the lies would begin! All she would ever say is “they ship together” when my dress sat at the atelier for who knows how long! I have text receipts where she would read them and NOT RESPOND! I tried my best to be kind in a time where my stress levels were the highest ever in my life from the uncertainty of if my dress would come in time or not. I was then told to go to some random apartment where a male was the “seamstress” and he wasn’t even there when I arrived. I didn’t not feel safe at all and just told them to bring my dress to the car that I would not be going in to try on my dress! To sum it up DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY! They will steal your joy and say that they are not wrong and blame you in the end! If you are a 2025 bride and have to deal with “Miss Nancy” I feel so sorry for you! I hope she decides to respond to you and not leave you in the dark! If you need numbers on who to call reach out to me I have one reliable guy that was my literal saving grace! I told him on the phone today “you have been the only one that was helpful so thank you for that but poised bridal as a company SUCKS!” In which he responded “yes after the “accident” it has gotten sour!” Every single bride is literally in the same boat as me if they have gone through poised bridal for their venue or wedding dress! DO NOT MAKE YOURSELF...
Read more-5000000 stars. The Poised Estate/Bridal company in my opinion is the most unethical company I have ever encountered. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. My wedding and 2 wedding dresses were paid off when the burn happened causing the house to no longer exist. This is where my fiance and I planned to take our wedding portraits, this is where I had all day access to a bridal suite but most importantly this is what made poised estate unique and elegant. When it burned down 2 month away from my wedding date I expected some sort of remorse and empathy from this company to which I received none of. My dream wedding venue had burned down. I was told there would not be any refunds, any discounts, that “nothing had changed”. Since I was out just under 20k total for the venue and dresses we felt obligated to have it there. My coordinator asked if we could have 2 nights local hotel at $500 each night to compensate for the now need of a bridal suite from 7 AM to 3 PM just before my ceremony and it would need to fit 9 people comfortably and the hotel would let me take photos there at no extra charge. Nancy declined this repeatedly and offered $500 total as compensation for me to get a bridal suite, pay for a location and photos. We kept trying to tell the owner Nancy that we needed something of the equal value because that is what we lost. Poised estate is now just a field with a pond and a tent. She proceeded to OFFER ME HER LUXURIOUS BATHROOMS AS A BRIDAL SUITE after I declined the 500. Most importantly poised estate is no longer the venue I said yes too. Nancy stopped replying to our emails. Thankfully our insurance refunded us but Nancy got to keep all that hard earned money and didn’t deserve it for the venue. When it came to getting my dress, I would have to call from multiple different phone numbers because they refused to answer my call. 1 call from fiance and they would answer until they realized it was me. I have gotten hung up on by this company, I literally had to have a friend call and 3 way me in just to get in contact with them. I wish I had never given these people 1 dime. Everything I have stated can be backed up with email and phone records. Praying for any person still forced to deal with these people. All 4 people I have spoken to that have worked with this company regret it. Very sad how they treat...
Read more1 Star clearly gives the owner Nancy to much credit but if we are talking about the seamstress Adalia she overall gets 5 stars for my alterations she was so wonderful and just made this horrible experience a wonderful ending for my wedding. No Bride to be should ever have to deal with what I had to deal with. Nancy has no customer service and/or communication skills she was very rude and disrespectful to me and my family. She ordered me the wrong dress size (12) and was given a size (16) and tried to play it off by telling me & my family I lost 30lbs and 4 dress sizes. We saw the receipt with the dress in a size 12 that was supposed to be ordered and when my aunt tried to call the owner Nancy and explain and try to get some feedback to why we have a size 16 and not a 12 she became enraged and began to disrespect my aunt and got very defensive when all we wanted was to see where our size 12 dress was.? When we finally spoke to her she replied by saying we just type a random dress size but we ordered the correct size for you???? Doesn’t make any sense but she was sticking to her story and clearly would not take responsibility for the mistake made. She was telling me & my family it be $800 in alternations to have my dress ready but no compassion towards my experience and just overall wanted nothing to do with me anymore. Nancy would not answer my phone calls and when I tried to get in contact with her she nor her team would not answer when I was wanting to get updated on my alterations for my dress. She wanted nothing to do with me nor my dress…. for someone who sells wedding dresses and claims she cares about your special day I find that very hard to believe due to her actions towards me as a bride. PS. Keep pictures of everything because she will not take responsibility nor take constructive criticisms. Also she knew I was from San Antonio and would not communicate with the seamstress nor I to make me aware of any schedule changes. My mistake for making her shop my first stop and me falling in love with my dress she clearly showed her true...
