Twin Beach Market — Local services in West Bloomfield Township

Despite this wonderful store being located on the "corner" of two rather busy streets, it is remarkably easy to get in and out. I have yet to try their renowned pizza, as I am a "wood fired oven" pizza fan, so I will definitely keep an open mind. Great selection of products, flexible hours, and fantastic ice. Yes, ice! My husband in an ice aficionado - and he says that the brand that Twin Beach sells (U.S. Ice) is "perfect ice!". Don't make me explain - I can barely understand what my husband is describing and it is just frozen water to me...))

The owner defines "cool" - nothing rattles him! He is polite, professional and knowledgeable. He also computes change "in his head" with efficiency and speed. I admire that - he had good math teachers, but clearly he is a quick study!

The only downside is that every time I stop in for ice or an ingredient, the store is full of men sporting Spartan shirts, but I suppose that is to be expected considering that Twin Beach has an extensive selection of beer, wine, and liquor. This establishment literally has the most kind, respectful and helpful guys working there! Not only are they extremely kind, they also make sure if I purchase any larger items (i.e. Boxes of firewood they sell) that one of them ALWAYS carries it out to my car for me!! Great little store in my new homes area. I saw a local kid leave the store with a pizza box and asked him if it was any good. He said " Yah it's great!" So I tried it the next weekend. WOW!
