Green Ridge Country Market — Local services in West Buffalo Township

I want to start with the positive, very nice selection of many different things, however, ALL the staff was EXTRAORDINARILY RUDE! It started with the cashier inside the store. Me and my husband were paying for our purchase and the cashier would not stop glaring at me. It was very strangely uncomfortable. She actually had a hard time focusing on ringing out the purchases and bagging it because of the scary glaring. We dismissed this as just something we would forget and forgive ( maybe having a bad day or not feeling well) Next, we went to the bbq pit. Girl there, not glaring but had a bad attitude and was very short and impatient. Then while sitting there waiting for our order, some man affiliated with the business, road by on his bike and stated that none of these people know how to cook anymore. (Meaning us I guess🤷🏼‍♀️) I guess making money isn’t something they are interested in🤷🏼‍♀️? This is one of my all time favorite country stores. It used to be an almost daily stop when I lived in the area. Their weekend outdoor bbq chicken stand in the summer is excellent. Generous servings and good homemade side's. The people who work there were always very friendly to my children and I and we were always greeted with a smile. It is ran by Mennonite's and there is definitely a quaint, old fashioned feel to the place. Their baked goods are incredible, especially around Christmas time and the gingerbread house supplies they offer are pretty extensive. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone who is traveling...

A nice little country store. This is a bulk food store. A good selection of candy, nuts, baking needs as well as regular grocery items. They sell tubs of icing to decorate your homemade cakes. There is also an in-store bakery. Lots of Whoopie pies and pies too. Also a glass case of homemade candy just inside the door to the right. They have a deli where you can get fresh made subs. The lunchmeat and cheese by the pound is higher priced than other similar bulk stores in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful....
