My quilting buddies and I have made Burkholder's one of the quilt shops we ALWAYS visit when we are in Lancaster for the AQS show, or just out for a Saturday road trip (it's about an hour and a half from home.) They are slightly more expensive than the other shops we visit in the area, but their selection is second to none and still far, far cheaper than our "local" quilt shops! If I'm having trouble finding just that "perfect" fabric I can almost always find it at Burkholder's. And, with your quilt guild membership card you always get a discount. Their fabrics are very nice but quite expensive so after receiving the coupon I was excited to go to the store. At checkout I began paying for my purchase and as my card was processing I remembered my coupon. They would not honor the coupon saying I have to show it before I pay and they would not redo the transaction so I could get my money. They were not helpful or sympathetic and didnât care.
