I’m a big fan of the Wes Anderson film “Moonrise a Kingdom” and I spent my one week vacation in Boston retracing all of the movie locations that I could find. I was here during the depths of winter when it was cold, overcast and drizzling off and on and despite this this location was incredibly beautiful! In more moderate spring or summer weather this place must be spectacular! We'd intended to hike the Ben Utter trail, but the Escoheag Trail was gated and it would have made for a longer hike than wee wanted, so we continued north on Escoheag Hill Road until we got to Falls River Road. We drove in a little way and parked at one of several open spots along the side of the road, then walked down the very steep road to the Falls. There were a few other people there enjoying the beauty, hiking, trail running, etc. As others have mentioned, it looks like it would be a great place to take a dip...
