This is a fairly large community of cottages and some larger houses that sit on the hill overlooking the New River. The views can be spectacular over the river bend/valley depending on the location of the house and our rental had a great view. There looks to be 2-3 trails that run through/around the community and connect the waterfalls and lakes. Very peaceful and out of the way between West Jefferson and Boone. Also within a few miles of the access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We'll be back!
