Catwalk Hair Studio — Local services in West Monroe

First off, when you walk in this tacky "studio", you sit and wait. The hair stylists and owner may greet you, but they never ask why you are there. My friend waited in their store for an hour before she even had attention turned to her. Hair stylists are busy, yes, but when they are in viewing range, they need to at least ask why you are there. The women there only assumed she was there for an appointment, but no. My best friend asked for a day to experiment with her hairstyles and makeup for her wedding.

When the day came for her an appointment, her hair stylist was not told that she was also there for makeup. It was clearly stated to the owner that my friend wanted the day for experimenting with her hair, but the owner booked two more appointments, all within thirty minutes of each other. We were forced to leave after a sub-par, teased lower hair curling. Speaking of which, the curls fell out very quickly (flattening WHILE in the store!), despite the overwhelming amount of hairspray. We went to another hair stylist, and had a much better experience.

Edit: Also, her hair looked like it needed to be re-washed after he was done by a "professional". Hair should not look greasy after being freshly washed.

This is the BEST salon to go to if you want a friendly place where you feel like you're a friend and not a stranger or just another customer. I love my color and how my hair is cut. I wouldn't go anywhere else, The Catwalk is the best...
