I contacted Brian when my previous electrician no showed for almost a week, Brian came to meet me the very next day and even showed up 15 minutes early, We walked thru the house to look at the work needed and he gave me a very reasonable and affordable estimate including the county permit, we agreed on the price and scheduled the work to be done on coming Monday. I asked him if he wanted me to pay him for the permit fee upfront he said he would pay it himself and charge me altogether, i checked the county website the following day and he had already pulled the permit as promised. Normally other electricians collect the permit fees upfront. Brian and his very professional helper showed up on Monday around 7:15 am as promised, As the day went by We discovered additional work that was not part of the agreement, however Brian was very patient and calm and addressed the issues to me in a extremely professional, honest and polite way. I verbally agreed to pay additional fee as needed. I had most of the light fixtures and switches etc. for my project however there were some items i didn't have so Brian had those on his truck ( he had a lots of supplies on his truck ). We had scheduled the inspection with the County for the next day so Brian and his helper worked non-stop til 8:30 pm and completed the job, that's over 12 hours, and didn't even loose their patience nor complained for working way more than expected, they were motivated and worked in the same work ethic all day long ( very impressive ). I was extremely impressed, happy and thankful to the both gentlemen. He charged a very reasonable price for the additional work and even asked me if that was fair. After a few weeks i needed a service call, Brian came by the very next day and took care of the issue i had. A few months later i needed the invoice so he emailed me and even called me to confirm that if i received it and was it sufficient what i needed. I will always use his services in the future and highly recommend him to anyone in need of minor troubleshooting to a large project of any kind. He is very skilled and experienced. Was pleased with previous work Russell Electric had done running a line to our pool pump.

I called again a couple weeks ago to get an estimate on running Cat6 cabling in my home. Brian was prompt in coming out and reviewing the needed work, and stated he would need a day or two to get me an estimate. I never received a quote, so sent an email requesting it after a few days, no reply. I then called the following Monday and spoke to another gentleman who claimed he had sent the quote but to text him my email and he would send again that afternoon. I text my information but never received it. Finally, I text again the next day saying I still hadn't received a quote and to try another email address, but never received a reply or the quote.

Perhaps the job was going to be too much hassle (my basement is finished and the lines needed to be run from basement to attic). I'm totally fine with that, but proper communication is key, not having a customer go on a wild goose chase trying to receive an estimate. We encountered a huge problem today and the fire department ended up turning our power off & said we couldn’t turn it back on until an electrician came out to check everything. After checking google & seeing everybody’s ratings I decided to call Russell Electric. I was extremely happy from the start. Brian was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, kind and just understanding. He explained everything to us, got our problem fixed and our power back on in a very timely manner. He was very thorough and made sure the job was totally complete before he left. He even pulled his generator out and plugged our refrigerator into it so none of our food went bad while he worked since our power had been turned off for a few hours already. The compassion that he had on top of everything else just surpassed everything that I had expected when I called just hoping that my electrical problem could be fixed and that it wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
