This butcher used to be called Brokenheart and was an amazing butcher under that ownership! we highly recommended and used them for all our butchering needs and never had a problem.
However ownership has changed and it’s now an awful place! I would NEVER recommend Flying M to anyone. Unfortunately we learned the lesson the hard way and would like to save anyone else from our experience.
They ruined our cattle. The staff gave us the run around and everyone I spoke to had a different story. We got cuts of meat that were packaged before our cows were even dropped off which is obviously not our beef. Our cows hung too long and ruined the meat, their freezers went out and spoiled some meat, we have missing meat, mangeled cuts and wrong cuts were done. The new owners are rude and unapologetic. The staff doesn’t seem to know what they are doing OR they are deliberately misleading people.
We invested years into our cattle and flying m mismanaged them… and now we are out the meat and the money invested into our cows!
I’ve asked for a resolution that is beneficial to all involved and they are now ignoring me as they did when they kept our cows hanging too long.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS it not worth the issues that come with a poorly run, unscrupulous business
In the pictures you’ll see packages that aren’t sealed, meat dated before our beef was dropped off proving the meat wasn’t our cattle, poor cuts that start thick and turn thin and the horrendous ribeye steak that is pictured unpackaged. 2lb briskets because so much meat was cut and lost due to improper handling!

I have roast that that are less than a pound and tenderloin that is the size of a silver dollar and other tenderloin cut length wise. I spent 6000 dollars for the cows and processing and the meat averaged $10.50 cents per pound. We sent 2 black Angus cows 915 and 1030 pounds our yield was 27%. I asked for 21 day hanging I got 18 I received 300 pounds of ground beef that was ground course and believe it was ground only once or they used improper equipment. I also have Chunks of bone in the so called hamburger meat. I called multipliable times and not once did they return my call. When we picked it up there was no yield sheet provided. To date I still don’t have it. I came out with 7 Rib eyed steaks and should have been approximately 24. When I called them they informed me they had mis label the rib eye to tenderloin but they all look like New York strip. We used them 2 years ago and it was great service and Doug the real burger did a great job but this year was a disaster! I will never use them again. UPS was the villain of my longer review. LaShae and team shipped my order out to El Paso shortly after I ordered it. Everything was looking good, but UPS had a mechanical issue and the meat was spoiled when it arrived. I contacted LaShae and she sent a replacement order at no cost to me. I received a notice that the shipping label was created, but UPS 'lost' the package. I called them again and they sent another order. This one got here yesterday! We cooked up one of the cuts that night we were so exited. The beef is tender, juicy, and so so flavorful.
