Soccer Palace — Local services in West Orange

Great place but horrible management. We organized birthday party there and paid in advance. I called the day before to make sure that everything is all right and to ask when should I come, only to find out tomorrow day that they didn’t set up anything. They didn’t even have our party on schedule nor were tables out. Party started about 30 minutes late, by the time person that has keys for tables came etc., we were kicked out hour and a half later after the original start time, and they threw away our extra pizza and leftover cake without even asking, they just wanted to kick us out asap. My friend was serving guests as the person that was supposed to be doing it was assigned to another party and only took over last minute once the other party was done. They didn’t give us any money back even though they said they would, not even for that thrown out pizza, and they lied that party started only 10 minutes late instead of 30. Never again going there and I will tell everybody that didn’t already see for themselves but are interested what horrible experience we had there. I would give them 0...

So decided to give this place another try after a bad first experience, the ref’s are terrible as they are not able to control games for the older kids. When tackles happen from behind with the possibility to injure and the other kid shoves back I agree both should be tossed, but there not, and games get out of control. On more than one occasion I have been witness to fights with the older kids due in part to what I stated before. Secondly under no circumstances should refs come to a coach after a foul when a coach asks for an explanation and is told in front of kids to shut up....very unprofessional at any level....Hopefully they can address some of the issues at hand with the...

Very disappointed! They make last minute schedule changes to manipulate results. And that is not all, some referees clearly favor certain teams in order to also manipulate results. They do this in your face knowing there is nothing you can do about it. Don’t waste your money here.

Update.........after speaking with their management, they listened to our complaints and did what the could to try to make things right, so adjusting my rating...
