I visited Historic Yellow Springs and really enjoyed the history of the area and the variety of activities. There is a trail that goes by the foundation of the first military hospital, many historic buildings, a library and the the Chester Springs Studio. There is a beautiful 18th century herb garden next to the military hospital. The Chester Springs Studio hosts many art classes including fine art and ceramics. I saw plein air artists painting in the area. There is also an amazing wood burning kiln outside of the ceramic studio. They have great classes for teens and kids. They were married by a beautiful tree on the ruins of a very old hospital and the reception was held in The Washington right on the grounds. We could not have been happier with the wedding and venue.
